ASCA and JIR Sign Strategic MoU to Advance Payload Development for Oil and Gas Applications
Aerial Solutions Company for Aircrafts (ASCA) and JIR have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking the beginning of a strategic collaboration aimed at advancing the development of innovative payloads—particularly those focused on oil and gas leakage detection.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Luis De Leon Chardel, representing ASCA, and Mr. Shao Zheming from JIR Company. The ceremony underscored a shared commitment to enhancing the integration of next-generation sensing technologies with unmanned aerial platforms to support critical industrial applications.
This partnership opens the door to joint research, development, and deployment of customized payload solutions tailored to meet the unique challenges of the oil and gas sector. These efforts are expected to significantly improve the ability to detect and respond to hydrocarbon leaks with greater accuracy and efficiency, contributing to environmental safety and operational excellence.
Beyond oil and gas, the agreement also lays the groundwork for future collaboration in a wide range of sectors where aerial data collection and precision monitoring are essential, including environmental protection, infrastructure inspection, and emergency response.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Chardel expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration:
“This MoU represents a tremendous opportunity to push the boundaries of what UAV systems can do in industrial settings. By working together with JIR, we aim to deliver smarter, safer, and more effective aerial solutions.”
Mr. Zheming echoed the sentiment:
“We believe this partnership will lead to innovative payload technologies that will serve not only the energy sector but a wide spectrum of applications where advanced aerial intelligence is needed.”
The signing marks a significant step toward fostering innovation and global cooperation in aerial systems and payload development. Both parties are expected to begin joint activities under this agreement in the coming months.
